Mr Ernie Ang, Managing Director

Ernie has extensive contacts and a deep and sound knowledge of the food industry.  He took over as Managing Director of Problend Pte Ltd, a fledgling food ingredient manufacturer, and turned around the company in one year from $4 million to $13.56 million turnover.  He also designed and set up SMC Food 21 Pte Ltd. Ernie is a mechanical engineer by training and has more than 10 years of experience in automation and micro-chip technology with multi-national corporations.  Prior to his entrance into the food industry, he was involved in market and business development in Singapore, Malaysia, Greater China and East Asia with a Swiss Public listed company.

 

Mr Kelvin Wong, General Manager

Kelvin's corporate and entrepreneurial experiences in the various organizations since 1991 has gained him a unique combination of expertise in general management, marketing communications, business development, product development, brand management and training. He has held various senior and top management positions in large multi-national corporations including Inchcape and SingTel. He thrives in a fast-paced environment where handling multiple jobs simultaneously has become the norm and he has built a reputation for making quality management decisions in a fair and consistent manner. As a trainer, Kelvin has touched the lives of thousands of middle and senior management participants from both the public and private sectors with his insights, skills and philosophies. Kelvin is the author of the book ‘Create Your Destiny’. He is also featured in the book 'So What If You Are Not The CEO', the fourth book by best-selling author Han Kok Kwang. Kelvin holds a Bachelor of Business degree in Marketing & Management Science (Dean’s List) from Edith Cowan University (Australia) and a Diploma in Business Management awarded by the Australian Business Education Council.

 

Ms Tho Swee Ling, Operations Manager

Swee Ling has more than 16 years of experience in the quality management aspects of the food industry of which 6 years was spent as a Quality Control Executive at Unilac Dairy Products Pte Ltd, a blended food ingredient manufacturer and another 5 years in Dragoco Pte Ltd, a major Flavour House. Swee Ling is instrumental in the design of the quality assurance procedures and quality control of all ingredients and finished food products. She holds a Diploma in Chemical Process Technology and has various certificates in Microbiology testing, Sanitation and Hygiene for Food Industry and Industrial Management.

 

Ms Cheng Li Nar, Finance Manager

Li Nar is a business graduate with more than 10 years of management experience of which 5 years was spent with a major shipping line as a regional manager.  She is primarily involved in the financial and administrative aspects of the company.
